Custom made set of 2 natural edge Chokecherry wood coasters. The colours and grains in the Chokecherry are what makes these a stunning set.

Each coaster is approximately 4-1/2" in diameter and 1/2" thick.

These are a necessary addition to the Mojito cocktails that I describe in the Mortar & Pestle(s) that are in my shop.

They are finished with a varnish to give them durability from hot, cold and wet. Wash and rinse with a warm soapy water and dry when you are done. Do not place in a dishwasher.

I get most of my wood as a log from naturally fallen trees in friend's and families' yards. The logs are kept in a dry space for 4 - 6 months to dry and then I cut them into usable sized blanks and turn them on my lathe in my small shop.

These Chokecherry coasters comes from a log I acquired from friend in Lorette.
