The perfect gift for that special martial artist in your life. A Tanto is design as a useful training tool as it can take a beating and isn't sharp!
Choose your wood! You can choose from Ash, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Red Oak, Sapele or White Oak for the Tanto. If you would like a different species of wood, send me a note and I will do my best to get it to you.
Also as an option, you can choose personalized Kanji / Katakana symbols to be burned on the handle. The Kanji shown in the image is "Aiki - 合氣". Please select "other" as the option and indicate the text that you want burned on the Tanto in the personalisation section. A person's name is easily done in Katakana.
The Tanto is 7/8" thick and a length of 11-3/4".
There is a "shinogi" or ridgeline between the "mune" or back of the blade and the "ha" or edge of the blade.
An excellent practice weapon in Aikido or other knife taking practice.
