"Seiza" is a Japanese term for "proper sitting." A Seiza bench takes the weight off of your legs and feet and allows you to sit and meditate for longer periods.

This unique design is held together by a mortise and tenon with a pin through the tenon to secure it. There are no screws or hinges.

The benches are made from a good solid piece of wood (i.e.: Oak, Walnut, Maple, Cherry or Ash) and prices vary by wood species chosen.

Each bench is made to order and will be ready to ship in 5 to 7 business days.

I often sit on my Seiza bench while watching TV as it puts me in a good posture and reduces stresses on my back.
