Handmade solid oak shoehorn which is narrow for a smaller foot and is made with a hook in the handle to help you pull it out of the shoe. An Ergonomic shaped handle to easily hold on to it while slipping on your shoes.
The hooked handle makes it easy to hold and easy to use, with a tip that is shaped to fit nicely between the bottom of the heel and shoe.
It is approximately 11" / 28 cm long and 1-1/2" / 3.5 cm wide.
These are made by cutting a rough shape out on the bandsaw and then the curves added carefully with hand chisels and sanding.
In the past, I have worn out many pair of shoes at the heal as I wasn't using a shoehorn. The other reason that I enjoy making and using shoehorns is because my finger is always "crunched" by my heal. 🙂
