A unique vase that was inspired by the brushes in a field next to the trees. The artwork is done with pyrography (wood burning).

The vase is made from Box Elder, which is part of the Maple tree family but is distinctive because of its amazing colours and grain patterns.

This beautiful unique designed vase is handmade by me in my small shop at home in Winnipeg. The wood for comes from a Box Elder Maple tree that fell in a friends backyard. It is turned on a lathe to get it's shape and a wood burning tools to add the design.
