Tea Spoon

I took the tea scoops (which have been very popular) and stretched the handle to make a regular sized spoon. It was a special request from a customer that already had three tea scoops.
A regular size wooden spoon can be used for many things in the kitchen and at the table. From scooping and stirring sugar into your tea or coffee to mixing the pasta salad in the bowl.
These are handmade with a specialty hook shaped knife to carve the "bowl" of the spoon. They are sanded smooth and finished with a walnut oil.
The size of the spoon is 7-1/4" (18 cm) long with the width at 1-3/4" (4.5 cm). The handle is 3/4" (2 cm) at it's widest and tapers down to 3/8" (1 cm) at the neck. It holds approximately 1.5 tsp in volume.
It should be hand washed and treated periodically with a food safe finish.
(Please note that to keep shipping costs down, I put a postage stamp on a small padded envelop with the scoop(s) and place it in the mailbox with Canada Post / US Postal Service).
