Handmade solid oak shoehorn that is made with an approximate 20° angle in the handle. An Ergonomic shaped handle to easily hold on to it while slipping on your shoes.
The angled handle makes it easy to hold for ease of use, with a tip that is shaped to fit nicely between the bottom of the heel and shoe.
It is approximately 10" / 25 cm long and 1-3/4" / 4.5 cm wide.
These are made by cutting a rough shape out on the bandsaw and then the curves added carefully with hand chisels and sanding.
In the past, I have worn out many pair of shoes at the heal as I wasn't using a shoehorn. The other reason that I enjoy making and using shoehorns is because my finger is always "crunched" by my heal. 🙂
